Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

There are a number of staff employed by the community trust who work closely with the practice. They are the District Nurses, Health Visitors, Midwives and School Nurses. There is also a Mental Health Team and specialist services from MacMillan Nurses and Continence Nurses.

Dietitian

The dietitian provides dietetic advice and assists in the diabetic clinic in Hornsea and Aldbrough on Wednesdays. She sees patients referred to her by the doctor or nurse, by appointment.
